PODCAST – Beyond The Beermat #52: The Five Count – Number Four

PREVIOUS EPISODE – Beyond The Beermat #51: The Five Count – Number Five
NEXT EPISODE – Beyond The Beermat #53: The Five Count – Number Three

Our incredible countdown continues as The Five Count rolls on. We’re going all in and taking an in depth look at how the wrestling industry has evolved and the biggest ways or moments that have influenced it all over the years. You’ll be getting no spoilers from us in terms of the contents within this – nor any – of our amazing list; so the only way you’re going to find out what made the cut is to listen in!

Number four on our list is all about history. Heritage and tradition are signposts of the past. What has gone by and using it as a measuring stick against the present. Wrestling is not immune to the influences of time either, and as the world itself changes so too is it reflected in everything we see inside the squared circle. We’ve already said that these are the biggest podcasts we’ve ever attempted in terms of scale. Certainly in terms of time, this one is right up there as Beyond The Beermat takes an in depth look at a match that was so important you can trace it’s roots all the way back to the early 20th century.

Prepare yourself for a truly epic journey over the ages. It’s only when you fully understand where you’ve been that you can see clearly how you got to where you are. This rule definitely applies to us as we’ve been out for a few drinks before and will definitely be doing so again.
